ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to Circuit Court in unrelated cases.

Jennifer Lynn Verbrigghe, 38, of 517 1st Ave. S. Apt. 2, Escanaba, was bound over on two counts of police officer – assaulting /resisting /obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and one count of disorderly person – drunk, a 90 day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on or about Nov. 14, 2018 in Gladstone. Verbrigghe posted a $7,500 surety bond.

Zakary Arthur Barnhart, 17, of 904 S. 15th St., Escanaba, was bound over on one count of motor vehicle – unlawful driving away, a five-year felony and license suspension. The cash/surety bond was set at $10,000.

Scott Harold Aker, 37, of 5665 J.5 Rd., Escanaba, was bound over on four counts of controlled substance – possession/analogues, two-year felonies with a maximum fine of $2,000 each and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charges stem from an incident which occurred on or about Nov. 20, 2018 in Delta County. The bond was set for 10 percent of $35,000.

Milton J. Walker, 46, of 1620 Willow Creek Rd. Apt. 2, Escanaba, was bound over on one count of controlled substance – possession (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on or about Aug. 7, 2018 in Escanaba. The personal recognizance bond was set at $1,000.
