Defendants sentenced in court

ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced on unrelated charges in Delta County Circuit Court in Escanaba.

George Alan Novak Jr., 49, of 867 Swede Road, Bark River, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, third offense. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail and given credit for serving 119 days. He was placed on probation for 12 months. His drivers license was revoked. Novak was ordered to pay $84 restitution an d$1,468 in fines and costs.

Allan Walter Boye, 63, of 1230 N. 16th Road, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance — possession of analogues. He was sentenced to three months in jail and given credit for serving three days in jail. He was placed on probation for 28 days. His drivers license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. Boye was ordered to pay $758 in fines and costs.

Dennis John Reese, 24, of 1226 N. 19th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of probation violation with the underlying offense of possession of analogues to which he pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to two months in jail and given credit for serving five days.

James Anthony Boye, 60, of 1230 N. 16th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of carrying a concealed weapon. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail and given credit for already serving three days. Boye was ordered to pay a total of $758 in fines and costs.
