Defendants sentenced in circuit court
ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in unrelated cases in Delta County Circuit Court in Escanaba.
Torrey Scott McGeary, 38, Trenary, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – maintaining a drug house. He was sentenced to three months in jail and given credit for 11 days served. His driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. McGeary was ordered to pay $698 in fines and costs.
Raymond John Gardner, 53, of 4167 U.S. 2 and 41, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, third offense. He was sentenced to six months in jail and 300 hours community service work. He was given credit for one day served in jail. He was placed on probation for 18 months. His driver license was revoked. Gardner was ordered to pay $2,158 in fines and costs.
Gregory Scott Ogea, 38, Marquette, pleaded guilty to being a second offense habitual offender with the underlying offense of controlled substance – possession of analogues. He was sentenced to six months in jail and given credit for two days served. His driver license was suspended for 60 days and restricted for 305 days. Ogea was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.
