Hannahville FACE Program opens enrollment
HANNAHVILLE — The Hannahville Family and Child Education (FACE) Program has announced open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year. As a nationwide initiative established in 1990 and deeply rooted in the Hannahville Indian School since 1991, the program invites Native American families to join in a transformative and empowering journey.
FACE’s mission is to empower parents and guardians to be their child’s first and most influential teacher, fostering a love for learning and strengthening family bonds through literacy. FACE offers a comprehensive range of early childhood services, tailored to fit the unique needs of each family.
Home Visiting Program (Prenatal-Age 3): FACE is an affiliate of Parents as Teachers (PAT), the nation’s most replicated early childhood development home visiting model. Through personal visits, parent educators empower parents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to foster their child’s early development effectively.
Preschool Program (Ages 3-5): FACE is an affiliate of the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL). Since 1990, FACE has served over 48,000 adults and children using our center-based model. The curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. The program creates a supportive preschool environment, where parents are actively involved in their child’s education.
What sets FACE apart is its ability to tailor services to meet the unique needs of each family. Whether your child is in foster care, adopted, or living with a family member, support is available for them, and you. FACE’s “wrap-around” approach ensures that every family member feels included and valued in the program and community. Welcome are moms, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and all family members to participate actively in our program, creating a space that fosters a sense of togetherness and empowerment for the entire family.
The program is designed to enhance parent-child interaction, foster child development, and promote family well-being while instilling a lifelong love for reading and learning.
Services are provided free of charge, ensuring that every Native American family has access to quality education and support.
Enroll now for the 2024-2025 school year and embark on a collaborative journey of growth and learning with FACE.
