Kiwanis Club changes meeting time

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Club is changing their meeting time to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. The change will be effective Wednesday, May 1.

The Club will continue to meet at the First Lutheran Church, 1212 Minneapolis Ave., in Gladstone, and welcomes anyone who would like to attend.

Final church breakfast

ESCANABA — St. Joseph & St. Patrick parish, 709 1st Ave. S., Escanaba, will be having it’s final breakfast of the season on Sunday, April 28 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the parish hall, located in the basement of the church. Breakfast will resume in the fall to be held on the fourth Saturday of each month.

For those needing assistance, an elevator is available on the 7th Street side entrance to the church.

Memorial UMC sale, Clothes Closet hours

GLADSTONE — Free clothing of all sizes is available at the Memorial Methodist United Church in Gladstone. The clothes closet will have special hours during the church’s rummage sale. The hours are as follows: Thursday, May 2 from 2-7 p.m.; Friday, May 3 8:30 to 2 p.m.; Saturday, May 4 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Esky Class of 1964

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Class of 1964 is having a 60th class reunion on Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Highland Golf Club. Those who have yet to RSVP as asked to contact Joanne at 906-786-9363.
