Esky Class of 1984 reunion set for July 20

ESCANABA — The Escanaba High School Class of 1984 is planning a 40th reunion on Saturday, July 20, at the Terrace Bluff Country Club. Information can be found on the “Esky Class of 84” Facebook page, or by contacting Sue (LaFave) Hughson via email at shughson@eskymos.com.

Friends of DATA to meet

ESCANABA — The Friends of DATA, which supports the Delta Area Transit Authority, has announced its bi-monthly meeting schedule for 2024. The meetings are as follows:

Tuesday, May 14, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Escanaba Senior Center

Tuesday, July 9, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Escanaba Senior Center

Tuesday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the DATA Boardroom

Tuesday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Willow Creek II Community Room

Transportation to and from the meetings is provided by DATA at no cost. When calling DATA (906-786-1186), indicate you are attending the Friends of DATA meeting.

Stamp and Coin Club meets Monday at Bay

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Bay de Noc Stamp and Coin Club is Monday, May 13, at 5 p.m. in the Joseph Heirman University Center building, room 961, at Bay College. The public is always welcome. If you have stamps or coins and you need help bring them to the meeting.

Genealogical Society meets May 20

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society is Monday, May 20, at an earlier than usual time of 5 p.m. in the Joseph Heirman University Center building, room 961, at Bay College. The public is welcome.
