New Christian school opening in Gladstone

GLADSTONE — The Living Waters Academy, a private classical and Christian k-8 school, is planning to open Tuesday, Sept. 3 in Gladstone. The exact location of the school will be announced at a later date.

The school is currently enrolling students for the 2024-2025 school year, but space is limited. Students are enrolled on a first-come-first-served basis.

To reserve your child’s space or ask about enrollment, call 906-420-2519 or email your contact information to admin@livingwaters906.com. Staff will then make arrangements to meet with you and your student.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, March 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Country Express.

There is a door cost and free will donation lunch will be available. For more information, call Lucy at 356-6459.

All proceeds benefit the senior corporation.

Genealogical Society to meet Monday in Esky

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society is Monday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m., at the Family Research Center, 1021 S. 14th St., Escanaba. Please bring research problems and share so other members can lead you into possible areas of research success.
