Legion breakfast
GLADSTONE — The American Legion Post 71 of Gladstone will be hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast on the third Sunday of each month, with this month’s breakfast set for Feb. 19. Food will be served from 9 a.m. to noon.
Soo Line Steam Engine Authority meeting
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Michigan Soo Line Steam Engine #730 Authority will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Feb. 13 at 4:30 p.m. at 817 Delta Avenue in Gladstone.
New members are encouraged to join. Agenda items include the 2024 Soo Line Historical Society Convention, to be held in Gladstone, and future fundraisers planned for next spring and summer.
Elks brunch Sunday
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Elks club will hold monthly brunch Sunday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is welcome.
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren group
ESCANABA — The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program recognizes that there are many families who are raising another family member’s child or providing foster care for other children in our community. Grandparents raising grandchildren are invited to attend meetings on the second Thursday of each month for support, a meal and a little respite time with other adults. Meetings are held from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1905 South 21st Street Escanaba.

Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Music will be provided by Ron Jay & The Country Strangers.
There is a cost at the door and a free-will donation lunch will be provided. For more information, call Lucy at 906-356-6459. All proceeds benefit the senior corporation.
