Vacation Bible school at Cedar Grove Mennonite

MANISTIQUE — Cedar Grove Mennonite Church will be hosting a three-day vacation Bible school, June 7- 9 for children and youth, 4 years old through 8th grade. The theme this year is “Peace Within, with Others and in the World” and will be held each day from 1:30 to 3:40 p.m.

Most of the program activities will be held outdoors in a large tent, so participants should bring jackets if the weather is cool. Activities will include music, crafts, Bible discussion, and science demonstrations. The final day’s projects will include the packing of school kits and hygiene kits that will be sent to assist children in the Ukraine.

Pre-registration is very helpful to ensure sufficient supplies. For more information or to pre-register, contact Ramona Sheppard at 906-450-3843 or Ann Troyer at 906- 341-5007. Registration forms will also be available at the church from 1:15 to 1:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

To reach Cedar Grove church, turn north off US2 onto the Manistique River Road (across from Fairview Cemetery). Go 2 1/2 miles to West Kendall Road and turn left. The church is located just north of the intersection of River Road and West Kendall. Cedar Grove is on Facebook @cedargrovemennonitechurch.
