Courtesy photo The Bark River-Harris manufacturing class, which is taught by Darren Bray and is part of the school’s new STEM program, recently designed and manufactured broken tee boxes for the Escanaba Country Club. The Women’s League of the Country Club donated the funds to purchase the materials for the students. The students then competed to come up with the best design. The winning student was Dylan Campbell. After selecting the design, the students manufactured the 36 boxes for the country club. Shown from left at the country club are, front row: Dylan Campbell, Paul Smith, Xavier Norlander, Tomas Velez, and Isaiah LaPalm; back row: Bark River Harris Teacher Darren Bray, ECC Grounds Crew Superintendent Tyler Finch, Jordan Wandahsega, Luke Niarhos and ECC Pro and Manager Jeff Rae.
