Meet Me at the Marketplace event set

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Public Library will hold their last Meet Me at the Marketplace event at the Escanaba Farmers Market on Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The event will feature the Great Start Parent Coalition with Halloween crafts, snacks, and free books. Music will be provided by local musicians Eli Bender and Katie Bender. There will also be a pop-up library where people can sign up for a library card and be entered into a prize drawing.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library.

Escanaba Elks Auxiliary to meet Nov. 4

ESCANABA — The Elks Auxiliary will hold their November meeting Thursday, Nov. 4. Social hour is at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will follow. Contact Peggy at 786-4278 or text her at 280-1585 with reservations or cancellations by Monday, Nov. 1 at noon.
