Eskymos crise to victory in softball doubleheader
GLADSTONE — Escanaba’s bats got hotter than the weather here Thursday night as they romped past Gladstone 13-0 and 17-6 in a softball doubleheader. The Eskymos unleashed a 17-hit attack in the nightcap which was decided in five innings. The opener went six frames on this sunny, breezy and seasonably-cool evening. “We’re starting to hit the ball real well,” Esky coach Andy Fields said. “We have a lot of good hitters.
