EDITOR: I was a little surprised to see the article in the July 16 Daily Press about the man who tried to firebomb the Dickinson County Republican Party headquarters in Iron Mountain. The story is getting some national attention, and why not? It's a local version of a current national problem; leftist political violence. I remember the institutional media warning us that the Tea Party movement of 2007-10 could become violent. In 2017, the FBI initially labeled the Bernie Sanders supporter who shot up a Republican baseball practice in D.C. as a "suicide by cop". The summer 2020 ...
