EDITOR: Well, that stupid and unnecessary project is in at Ludington Park. I can’t bring myself to call it a “nature trail”, which is what I believe Enhance Escanaba is calling it. My issue(s) with the new installation isn’t even the problem that many people have pointed out: Karen Moore’s obvious conflict of interest and blatant abuse of power. EDITOR: In a recent article on MLIVE, it was stated the Michigan’s residential power rates are among the highest in the Midwest. Here is what they didn’t telling you. In 2024, the CEO of DTE made over 11.5 million dollars in compensation. The Vice Chairman made almost 3 million, the CFO made over 3 million and the COO made almost 3 million. EDITOR: A recent letter warning of a “liquidation” of America’s public lands paints an alarming picture, but it’s one based more on fear than fact. The claim that the Senate budget reconciliation bill mandates the sale of 3 million acres of federal land is misleading. No such mandate exists.
