Two First Lego League teams composed of kids in fourth and fifth grade mostly from Gladstone competed in a qualifier tournament at the NMU Seaborg Center. Team 27434(GalaxyBots) is coached by Travis Beauchamp and Team 41404(Pro-Bots) is coached by Gina Pepin. The teams are mentored by current members of the Gladstone BraveBots and the main mentors are BraveBot alumni Mitchell Barron and Erika Roman. The teams finished first and second respectively and have qualified for the state tournament in Mason, Mich., on Dec 8.
