ESCANABA — Defendants were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court. They include:

Dane Anthony Hampel, of 1600 S. 30th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to motor vehicle – unlawful use and police officer – resisting. He was sentenced to 220 days in jail with credit for 220 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $965 and ordered to pay $1,396.98 restitution. He was also placed on probation for 12 months.

Jessica Francis Teeple, of 5461 G.5 Road, Escanaba pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. She was sentenced to 11 months in jail with credit for 217 days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $198. She aslso pleaded guilty toalsocond count of controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. She was sentenced to 225 days in jail with credit for 225 days served.

Brittany Lynn Meyer, of 1937 10th Road, Bark River pleaded no contest to assault with a dangerous weapon. She was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credt for 332 days servcredithe was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $198.

Mandy Lynn Maynard, of 9912 US 2, Apt. 3, Rapid River pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. She was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for two days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $848 and placed on probation for 18 months.
