ESCANABA — The Delta Conservation District is hosting its 67th Annual Meeting on Wednesday August 8th. Meeting activities include: social hour, dinner, election of two board directors, District program reports, presentation and door prizes. Candidates running for open board seats are Jack Herrick and Dave Nelson.

This year’s presentation will be a power-point on “Delta County Parks.” This year’s annual meeting will be held at Pioneer Trail Park in the new pavilion. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., presentation will follow. There is a fee for dinner and tickets and can be picked up at the Conservation District office or call (906) 553-7700 to reserve. You must RSVP by Friday Aug. 3.
