ESCANABA — Starting Tuesday, April 23, and continuing until Wednesday, April 24, from 11 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the Escanaba Water Department water distribution crew will be flushing hydrants for preventative maintenance throughout the city. Be advised that there may be discoloration and debris in the water.

Areas that may be affected include:

– 3 blocks in all directions from intersection of 3rd Avenue North and North

Lincoln Road

– 3 blocks in all directions from intersection of North 4th Street and

Ludington Street

Please turn off anything automated that could be affected by debris such as coffee makers, Ice makers, soda fountains, etc.
