ESCANABA — A balanced scoring attack helped the Bay College women roll to a 113-48 basketball triumph over Montcalm Community College here Saturday. The Bay men weren’t so fortunate as they dropped a 71-54 decision to the Centurions. RAPID RIVER — A strong fourth quarter by senior Caraghan Thill was enough to help the Big Bay de Noc girls break away for a 50-26 basketball victory over the Rapid River Rockets here Thursday night. The Rapid River boys also benefitted from a fourth-quarter surge in a 59-38 triumph over the Black Bears. Thill scored 12 of her 25 points in the final eight minutes in this Central U.P.
