MANISTIQUE — Three seniors stepped up and it proved to be the difference as Escanaba girls basketball team defeated Manistique 50-33 here Tuesday. Susie Moberg had a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds and Landry Bray also had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds and Ava Stalboerger also had 12 points in the contest. EBEN JUNCTION — The Superior Central girls tried their best to control the pace in a non-conference basketball game here Monday night. It was the Felch North Dickinson Nordics who picked it up in the second half, however, as they handed the Cougars a 42-19 loss. The shorthanded Cougars, with just six available players, elected to run a delay offense which helped keep them in the game into the third quarter.
