Soaring Eagles fly to win over Bobcats in soccer action

HANNAHVILLE — The Hannahville Soaring Eagles reaped the benefits of a stingy defense in a 3-0 soccer victory over the Munising Baptist Bobcats here Monday. Hannahville packed it in down low, often forcing the Bobcats to take shots from outside. EBEN JUNCTION — Edye Burdett may only be a freshman, but she has already achieved some important milestones as a cross country runner at Superior Central. Not only did Burdett win the Superior Central Invitational here Saturday, she tied the course record which she now shares with Ewen-Trout Creek senior Bree Besonen.
