NORWAY — The Escanaba Eskymos came up on the wrong side of the scoreboard as they fell 5-3 to the Norway Knights here Tuesday. Norway jumped into the lead in the second inning as Tristan Lessor had an RBI-single and Landon DeBakker laid down a sacrifice bunt to score a run. Kellan Amundson doubled, scoring two and Elliott Kraemer grounded out to score a run. Registration open for Emerald 5K, 10K
MANISTIQUE — During Folk Fest weekend, the Emerald Chase 5K and 10K Run/Walk that takes place at the boardwalk on July 11 is raising funds for the Manistique High School girls’ varsity track and field team. Early registration with a discounted rate is available until May 31. The price increases on June 1. Medals will be presented to top finishers.
