NORWAY — The Escanaba Eskymos came up on the wrong side of the scoreboard as they fell 5-3 to the Norway Knights here Tuesday.

Norway jumped into the lead in the second inning as Tristan Lessor had an RBI-single and Landon DeBakker laid down a sacrifice bunt to score a run. Kellan Amundson doubled, scoring two and Elliott Kraemer grounded out to score a run.

The Eskymos got on the board in the top of the third inning as Ashton Rymkos hit a two-run single and later scored on a RBI=single by Lennox Peacock to cut the deficit to 5-3.

Landon DeBakker got the start for the Knights. The righty allowed zero runs on one hit with one strikeout and one walk.

Ashton Rymkos got the start for the Eskymos allowing zero runs on zero hits with two strikeouts and zero walks in one inning of work.

The Eskymos begin district action on Friday in Kingsford.
