Knights defeat Jets in district action

NORWAY — The North Central Jets found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard here Friday as they fell 14-4 to the Norway Knights. North Central senior Brady Trudgeon hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the first to put the Jets up 1-0. Norway tied the game in the bottom of the first on an error by the Jets. KINGSFORD — The Neagaunee Miners were too much for the Escanaba Eskymos here Friday in the MHSAA Division Two district tournament.
