ESCANABA — Today we continue our introduction of the 2025-26 Bantam 14U-AA team. Today’s athlete is center/forward Jaeger Gartland.

Adam Hinch: So Jaeger, what got you into hockey?

Jaeger Gartland: My uncle got me into hockey.

AH: Do you play any other sports?

JG: I also play golf.

AH: What is your favorite of the two sports?

JG: Hockey.

AH: What is your favorite subject in school?

JG: I would say social studies.

AH: What is your favorite kind of music?

JG: Country and Rap.

AH: What is your favorite hockey team?

AH: What is your favorite TV show?

JG: I don’t watch TV.

JG: The Detroit Red Wings.

AH: What is your favorite video game?

JG: Hunter, Call of the Wild.

AH: What is your favorite NFL team?

JG: The New Orleans Saints.

AH: What is your favorite soda?

JG: Dr. Pepper.

AH: If you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go?

JG: Brazil.

AH: What is your most memorable moment from hockey?

JG: Winning states twice.
