Meet the racer: Ethan Juhola

ESCANABA — With only three weeks left in the 2025 regular season at Escanaba Motor Speedway, Daily Press sports writer Adam Hinch got an opportunity to sit down with sportsman sprint driver Ethan Juhola to discuss a number of topics.
Adam Hinch: Ethan what got you into racing?
Ethan Juhola: I always wanted to race but growing up was never financially able to and I helped out Manninen’s for a while and they offered a car to me and that’s how I got my start.
AH: What do you like to do away from racing?
EJ: I am a father to three so I have my hands full with that but I like to go fishing and hunting.
AH: Are you a barbecue guy?
EJ: I don’t like barbecue. I’m a big fan of smoked foods, especially smoked turkey.
AH: What is your favorite football team?
EJ: The Kansas City Chiefs.
AH: Are you into NASCAR at all and who is your favorite driver?
EJ: I watch NASCAR and Kyle Larson is my favorite driver.
AH: You a Coke or Pepsi guy?
EJ: Neither really I’m a Dr. Pepper guy.
AH: What is the best moment of your racing career so far?
EJ: At the end of last season when I got my first feature win.
AH: What are your goals for the season?
EJ: Goal is to win at least a heat race?
AH: Where would you want to go on a family vacation?
EJ: I would go to the Tennessee and Kentucky area.
