Mid Peninsula’s Shaelyn Lampinen signs her letter of intent with Alpena Community College recently in St. Nicholas. The Superior Central starting catcher chose Alpena out of four offers due to her relationship with coach Christin Sobeck. Lampinen will also join Sobeck on America’s Team, due to play a tournament in Spain in the summer of 2022.
