ESCANABA — A 5-week fundamental basketball camp will be held by Escanaba boys’ basketball coaches and players beginning this Saturday, October 9 and running weekly through November 6 at the Escanaba Upper Elementary.

Times for each age groups are as follows — grades 4 and 5: 8:00 a.m.; grades 2 and 3: 9:00 a.m.; and kindergarten and 1st grade: 10:00 a.m.

The cost for sign up is $35 and includes five hours of instruction and a t-shirt.

Harvest Moon 5K

ESCANABA — The Northern Lights YMCA – Delta Center will be hosting the Harvest Moon 5K Run/Walk today

The race begins at 8 p.m. with the course starting and ending at the YMCA.

Following the race there will be an awards ceremony with refreshments.
