EBEN — The Bark River-Harris volleyball team (5-0) continued its road win streak with a sweep of Superior Central 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-11) Thursday in Eben.

“Coming into this game, we wanted to focus on keeping the tempo of the game up and running our offense,” Broncos coach Jennifer Ives said. “We also wanted to work on playing a fundamentally strong defensive game. We knew Superior Central had some good hitters, and we really wanted to work at shutting htem down at the net.”

Ives credited the team’s synergy for the sweep.

“For us, it just came together well,” she said. “Our offense played an up-tempo game and made good decisions on the swing, and our defense was able to pick up most balls that got past the blocks. I’m really ahppy with the team effort and the chemistry our team showed.”

Bark River visits Carney-Nadeau Tuesday, and Superior Central visits Mid Peninsula Thursday.
