Escanaba boys tennis

Dear Dr. Fletcher and Escanaba School Board members: It has come to our attention that you are considering bringing boy’s tennis back under the financial umbrella of the Escanaba School System. We heartily endorse this idea. Boys tennis has flourished under the excellent leadership of Tom Penegor. There are more boys going out for tennis in Escanaba now than at any other time in the history of Escanaba High. EDITOR: I think your piece in the February 16 Daily Press, “Use Surplus to Reward All Taxpayers Equally”, was spot-on. I realize that the final negotiated budget will differ from Governor Whitmer’s opening proposals. Upper Peninsula CBS TV changes

EDITOR: This is in response to your article concerning the Upper Peninsula CBS TV affiliation changes. Since this has taken effect, our programming on channel 20 has been atrocious. Daily interruptions include complete blackout of the program, picture but no voice, and, much like a satellite interruption during bad weather, a complete disruption. Maybe the Lilly Broadcasting and John Christianson need to be aware that their procedures are not working in our area. According to the multiple social media posts, we are not alone. EDITOR: This letter is in response to “Roe vs. Wade” First lets get this out — rich women get an abortion any time they need one. No questions asked. That is anyone with enough money. That leaves women who are too poor to fly out of state to get the procedure. Whether it is rape, incest by a family member, unable to feed another child or danger to the mother’s life no woman makes this decision lightly.
