Thanks given to Rusty Bluse

This bouquet goes out to Rusty Bluse. Because of his Esky sports, he has put continuous hours into planning, fundraising and working at the Escanaba athletic field. He has gathered many volunteers to help — we won’t name any for fear of missing someone — to clean up the entrance and under the bleachers, and display many plaques of recognition of players and community members from the past and present. Community support happens in many ways

This week’s Bouquet — On behalf of the Delta County Cancer Alliance we would like to share this Bouquet of Thanks to one of our amazing local businesses, Berger & King Inc. With the recent move into the Christ the King Lutheran Church, we have been blessed with an amazing environment to provide Cancer Alliance business. However, the location of our offices included a restroom designed for young folks. Neighbors step in to care for cats

A big bouquet goes out to Jenna and David Nyman for caring. After a neighbor passed away unexpectedly, Jenna and David spent over three weeks feeding, watering, cleaning litter boxes and trapping the cats that were in the home and left without a caretaker. Thanks also to Deb, who helped transport the cats to safety. Well done, neighbors, well done.

Chamber appreciated Walleye Tour support

Thanking local medical staff for fast response on illness

Bouquet — From Jean Rohr, Gladstone: Dr. Aaron Cutlip (and the nurse, Michelle) recognized immediately the seriousness of my illness and began searching for a specialist. Dr. Shum, Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, Wis., and Dr. Cutlip agreed time was of the essence and I needed to be transferred to Milwaukee, NOW. Thank you to Rampart Ambulance, Escanaba, for agreeing to be my driver. And my ambulance companion, Andy — I’m sorry, I can be stubborn at times. Thank you, Jesus, and my angel, Brittany.
