Miriam Joy (Person) Sundalius
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Miriam Joy (Person) Sundalius, 64, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. She was born on April 3, 1959, the daughter of Harry Donald Person and Darlene B. (Burr) Person.
Miriam was a 1977 graduate of Rapid River High School. She retired from Denso Mfg. as a quality director in 2021 after 33 years of service.
Miriam is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gregory Sundalius; daughters, Betsy Sundalius, Malinda (Brian) Dommer, and Naomi (Jon Karner) Sundalius; Grandchildren, Cameron Dommer, Caden Dommer, Hank Karner, and Walt Sundalius; Brothers, Harley Person and Andy (Tina) Person.
Miriam enjoyed painting, cross stitching, camping, mountain biking and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday, August 3, at 1 p.m. with Deacon Jack Langfedlt of St. Mark Lutheran Church officiating.
A graveside service will take place at the Rapid River Cemetery in Escanaba, MI at a later date.
