Susan K. Ashland
WELLS — Susan K. Ashland, age 75, of Wells, Mich., passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Unity Hospice in De Pere, Wis. She was born July 21, 1947 in Menominee, Mich. to Kenneth and Marcella (Beaudo) Granger. She attended Menominee High and graduated Gladstone High School. Over the years, she was employed by Bay College, Mead Paper, United Way of Delta County, and retired in 2004 from the Delta County Circuit Court (FOC office). Susan will be remembered as always having a giving heart and helping others. She was a firm believer in standing up for the things she believed in and speaking out on injustices.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Marlaena (Leonard) Auriemma of Weymouth, Mass.; sons, Jeffrey Bowden of Illinois, and George Bowden of Escanaba, Mich.; stepdaughter, Caroline Bowden of Illinois; grandchildren, Corinna Perron, William Perron, Aliyah Bowden, Zander Bowden, Alexis Nicole Wiltzer, Isaac Bowden, and Caroline June Bowden; sisters, Judee (Ron) Burie of Oconto, Wis., and Mary (Robert) Reines of Marinette, Wis.; brother-in-law, Steve Everson of Marinette, Wis.; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert D. Ashland; and her sisters, Angela Marie Granger and Kelly Everson.
