Rae victorious, dedicates win to Easton Winnling

ESCANABA — For the second consecutive week Tanner Rae Found himself in victory lane. This time for Rae it was more than just a race.
“I wanted to win that one for Easton (Winnling),” Rae said. “I was excited to get back on the track, and the track was pretty good tonight.”
Rae’s win marked his eighth career win and his seventh win in Escanaba. Rae said he couldn’t do it without his sponsors and wanted to thank them for their support, they include The Carpet and Drapery Shoppe, Bloniarz Farms and Bloniarz Equipment.
Rae will be back in action on June 28 for the 6th Annual Christian Groleau Memorial Race. The frisbee toss will be for the 600 sprints, the class where Groleau primarily raced.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with the first green flag to drop at 7p.m.
