U.P. Sports Hall of Fame tournament
Only two weeks remain to register for the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame Golf tournament.
The four-person golf scramble will be held on Saturday, July 26 at the Pictured Rocks Golf Course in Munising. The $320 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, dinner and cash prizes. Golf carts are available for rent at $30 each. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.. The tournament is limited to 36 teams, so get your registration in soon.
Hole sponsorships are also available to further support the work of the UPSHF. There are three tiers of support: Gold Sponsors are $500, Silver sponsors $250 and Hole Sponsors $100.
This golf tournament is a fundraiser to support the work of the UPSHF, including providing four $1,000 scholarships annually to four graduating seniors from high schools across the U.P. The four scholarship award winners in 2025 were Munising’s Kate Mattson, Cole Baij (Norway), Madelynn Kreider and Gavin Trevillian (Kingsford).

Highland three-women scramble
Registration is open for Highland Golf Club’s three-women scramble on
July 9. The scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.
Entry fee is $300.00/team and includes dinner, hole events and three mulligans. Lunch will be available to purchase. Skins will be available for $15/team and carts available for $30. Golfers can call the club at 906-466-2791 to register and reserve their spot with a credit card. Registration forms are available on the Highland website at www.highlandgolfclub.net and click on the “Events” tab.
Payment is due with registration and the deadline for signing up is July 5.
