Timothy ‘Timmy’ Wayne Hamilton

Timothy ‘Timmy’ Wayne Hamilton

FORT McCOY, Fla. — Timothy “Timmy” Wayne Hamilton, age 28, of Fort McCoy, Fla. (formerly of Escanaba), passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Fort McCoy, Fla.

He was born on March 14, 1994, in Escanaba, the son of Lawrence “Ed” Hamilton and Peggy Aho. Timmy was raised in Escanaba and attended The Fitzharris Alternative High School.

He was always ready to grasp the next experience, he loved and lived large. Timmy was one of the most supportive individuals and would give the shirt off of his back if someone else needed it more, and would do just about anything to make someone laugh. His wit and charm were out of this world and his love for his family, especially his daughter, Carlie Anne Marie Hamilton, is even larger than that. If there was something Timmy wanted to do or see, he went for it without hesitation. He viewed every opportunity as an adventure and wanted everyone around to join in on the experience.

Timmy struggled with his health after developing childhood diabetes, but always made the best of life — he wouldn’t let any obstacle keep him down for long. Timmy resided in Fort McCoy for the last seven years; this last year he was staying in Wisconsin, healing from a motorcycle accident that occurred in September of 2021. Timmy was a wonderful son, father, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

Timmy is survived by his father, Lawrence “Ed” Hamilton of Escanaba; mother, Peggy Aho of Marinette, Wis.; daughter, Carlie Anne Marie Hamilton of Rapid River; brothers, Lawrence Hamilton, Jr., Harley Hamilton, William Aho, Robert Aho, and Christopher Aho; sisters, Patricia Hamilton, Michelle (Aho) Carlstrom, Lisa (Aho) Fine, Candy Hamilton, and Stephanie Hamilton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Timmy was preceded in death by his uncle, Timothy W. Hamilton; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Patricia Hamilton; maternal grandparents, Loran and Carole Leroy; and cousins, Katlyn LeClaire and Brian Posenke.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Timmy will follow at 2 p.m., Friday, in the Anderson Funeral Homes Chapel with Rev. Stephen Cowen officiating. A gathering will be held at the conclusion of the services at Ed Hamilton’s home.
