Alvin ‘Buzz’ Colson

Buzz was born March 10, 1935, in Escanaba, Mich., the son of Hayden and Edith (Colson) Micheau. He was raised in Rock, Mich.

Buzz is survived by: two sons, Alvin (Donna) Colson of Wells, Mich., and Hayden (Brenda) Colson of Iron Mountain, Mich.; three daughters, Barb (Terry) Johnson of Rock, Mich., Amanda Moberg of Rock, Mich., and Paula (James) Malanowski of Gladstone, Mich.; fibe brothers, Jim (Marie) Micheau of Niagara, Wis., “Bouncer” (Marla) Micheau of Washington, Marvin Micheau of Escanaba, Mich., Bruce Micheau of Washington, and Wayne Micheau of Rock, MIich.; three sisters, Audrey Strupp of Rock, Mich., Arlene (Eugene) Hansen of McFarland, Mich., and Tina Micheau of Texas; 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, and wife, Buzz is preceded in death by two brothers, George and Tom Micheau.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 31, from noon until 2 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military honors will be presented by the Rock American Legion following visiting hours. A funeral service will follow with Mary Miron officiating at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A luncheon will follow at the Gladstone American Legion. Buzz will be laid to rest in the Rock Cemetery. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the family.
