James Lloyd Young

James was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Escanaba, the son of Annette and Ralph Young. James was raised in Gladstone and was a 1979 graduate of Gladstone High School. James was a laborer at Andex Industries in Escanaba for many years and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

In addition to his parents, Annette and Ralph (Leda), James is survived by: son, Craig (Laurie) LaRose; siblings, Philip, Leslie (Douglas), David (Debi) and Joseph; granddaughter, Brianne (Derek); special nephew, Matthew.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Closing prayers and a time of sharing will conclude visiting hours at 3 p.m.. James will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
