Donald Lee Fehrenbach
BLUE RIDGE, Ga. — Donald Lee Fehrenbach, July 20, 1951 – Feb 9, 2019, age 67 of Blue Ridge, Ga., passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Don was born July 20, 1951 in Menominee, Mich., and moved to Escanaba in 1954 with his father, Donald Edward Fehrenbach, at which time the late Bernice (Harris) Fehrenbach became his mother. Don graduated in 1969 from Escanaba High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army, servicing in Vietnam. He attended NMU for certification in auto body repair, owning his own shop and teaching. In his spare time, he enjoyed building homes and hotrods. He attended The Ridge Church.
In addition to his father Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Tina (Oliver) Fehrenbach formerly of Kingsford, Mich., and their sons, Jeromie (Tara) and Todd (Jamie) Fehrenbach, siblings Elizabeth (Jim) Moberg, Timothy Fehrenbach, Rick Bach, and Lynnea (Ted) Lauffer, and grandchildren Ashten and Maddie Fehrenbach, as well as by marriage, Tyler, Grant, Gabe, and Grayson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Chan Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga., at 1 p.m. Military honors will be presented by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
