When officers responded to the scene around 4 p.m., the shed was fully engulfed in flames and a nearby garage was beginning to burn. The contents of the shed are deemed a total loss, and the garage sustained heavy damage from the fire. Officers were on scene for approximately 1 1/2 hours. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by Delta County Central Dispatch, DTE, Rampart EMS, and Escanaba City Electric. No injuries were reported during the incident.
