ESCANABA — After being canceled last year due to the pandemic, The Krusin; Klassics Fun Run returns to Escanaba this weekend.

The event begins Friday at 7 p.m. with the traditional parade of classic and vintage vehicles on Ludington Street. The event then moves to the U.P. State Fairgrounds with a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight with music by Where’s Gary. The dance is open to the public and those attending are asked to bring their own chairs to the outdoor dance.

The event continues on Saturday with a car show and swap meet . Gates open at 8 a.m. and trophies will be awarded at 4:30 p.m. in the grandstand

This is the 35th year for the event . It is one of many summer events schedued to return as restrictions put in place due to the pandemic are eased or lifted..
