Home and Garden Show is back

Residents are shown enjoying a past Kiwanis Home and Garden Show in this file photo. The coronavirus pandemic forced the event to be canceled in 2020, but it will be held this year on April 9-11 in the Ruth Butler Building at the U.P. State Fairgrounds. The Escanaba Kiwanis Club is seeking new vendors for the show. Event chair Pat Rudden said being quarantined during the pandemic has made people view their home and gardens as safe havens for relaxation and fun. “There is a real desire to recreate the spaces where we’ve been spending our quality time and this is the perfect event for vendors to show off products and services that can make that happen.” Vendors can find information at EscanabaKiwanis.org or by phoning Pat Rudden at 280-1789.
