Virtual voter forums can now be viewed online
ESCANABA — The Delta County League of Women Voters has concluded virtual forums for the Delta County Commissioners in Districts 4 and 5, the 108th State Representative and the Escanaba School Board.
The first forum on October 5 included the candidates for Delta County commissioner in District 4 — Rebecca McIntyre and David Moyle, District 5 — Bob Barron, Bob Petersen and David Rivard. The second forum on October 7 included the 108th State Representative candidates Beau LaFave and Renee Richer. The third forum segment on October 7 was for the Escanaba School Board –David Deno, Sage Dubord, Jennifer Johnson-Reeves, Todd Milkiewicz and Jamie Segorski.
All forums have been recorded and posted to the DCLWV website and face book page. Each segment was recorded separately for easier viewing. The recordings may be found by searching for the Delta County League of Women Voters Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/DeltaCountyLeagueOfWomenVoters/ or website www.deltacountylwv.org.
The League’s free, non-partisan printed Voter Guide was distributed through the Daily Press on October 7h. Extra copies are available at the Escanaba Public Library and other locations. In addition, the League’s free, online Voter Guide/Vote411.org is available for viewing your personal ballot by entering your home address.
“The League and the 19th Amendment turned 100 years old in 2020. We continue to celebrate this milestone by pursuing our grassroots efforts to encourage active participation in government. Membership in the League is open to all citizens 18 years and older,” League officials said.
