Plans finalized for Cedar River BridgeWalk
CEDAR RIVER — The Cedar River BridgeWalk on Saturday, Sept. 5, will begin with music by Nicholas Alan Vieth at 10 a.m. CDT, at the Cedarville Township Hall on the north side of Cedar River on Old Mill lane and across from the marina at the Cedarville Township Hall and Volunteer Fire Department
Opening ceremonies for the BridgeWalk will start at 11 a.m. CDT with the walk beginning after the crowning of the BridgeWalk Queen.
BridgeWalkers will find festivities on the south side of the Cedar River Bridge.
Nicholas Alan Vieth will continue music at about 11:30. Country band Hang ‘Em High will take over the stage at about 1:30 p.m. At approximately 3 p.m. Crooked Creek will continue with classic cover songs.
50/50 raffles, and other raffles will take place throughout the day.
Hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, draft beer and pop will be available at the festivities.
Proceeds from donations, raffles, food, drink, and t-shirt sales are split between the Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department and the Cedar River Chapel’s Helping Fund.
