MARQUETTE COUNTY — The mugshot of 31-year-old Marquette resident Trevor Caponcello Restivo, the suspect in Wednesday night’s shooting and police chase in Marquette County, has been released.
According to the Marquette Police Department, Restivo allegedly fled the scene of a shooting in Marquette before leading officers on a pursuit that ended in a fiery crash at the Krist gas station on U.S. 41 in Negaunee.
Restivo faces ten charges authorized by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, including: two counts of assault with intent to murder; one count of weapons – firearms – discharge in or at a building causing serious impairment; one count of weapons – firearms – discharge in or at a building causing injury; four counts of weapons felony firearm; one count of interfering with electronic communications causing injury or death; and one count of police officer – fleeing – second degree.
He is currently lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
