Upper Peninsula virus cases at 96, 15 deaths
ESCANABA – The Upper Peninsula had 96 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 15 deaths caused by the virus as of Sunday morning, according to michigan.gov.
Delta County had a total of 14 confirmed COVID-19 cases and two deaths, Schoolcraft County had four confirmed cases and Menominee County had six confirmed cases.
Elsewhere in the peninsula, Baraga County had one confirmed case, Chippewa County had two cases, Dickinson County had five cases and two deaths, Gogebic County had four cases and one death, Houghton County had two cases, Luce County had one case, Mackinac County had six cases and Marquette County had 51 cases and 10 deaths.
Across the state, 47,138 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed as of Sunday and 4,551 deaths had been reported.
