Cheryl and Jeff Patrick, of Rock, were honored as Grand Marshals of the Rock Labor Day Parade on Saturday. Cheryl is director and Jeff is secretary of the Rock Community Ambulance Service. The couple, along with their son, Jeff Jr., and their daughter, Marnell Thompson, and her husband, Tate Thompson, are all emergency medical technicians. Jeff works for the state and Cheryl works at OSF St. Francis Hospital’s emergency room and has been a school board member for 29 years. Cheryl and Jeff said they are proud to be a part of the Rock community. The couple is pictured alongside the Rock ambulance which they rode in during the parade.
