DNR needs volunteers to mentor youth in outdoor recreation activities at UP State Fair
ESCANABA — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is seeking local volunteers and community organizations to serve as mentors at the DNR Pocket Park during the upcoming Upper Peninsula State Fair, scheduled for Aug. 17-23. The one-acre park, located within the U.P. State Fairgrounds off U.S. Highway 2, provides hands-on outdoor recreation and skills training for youth.
