June 26
3:45 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to a residence on S-4 Ln in Lake Township for a report of a larceny. The caller stated he had an item stolen and wanted to file a report. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.
10:48 a.m. – A deputy was dispatched to Main Street in Spalding Township for a report of an assault that had happened the day before. The caller stated she witnessed and assault. An investigation was conducted and the incident was closed.
3:32 p.m. – A deputy was advised to contact a subject in Menominee Township for a report of child abuse. An investigation was conducted and closed due to the location the incidents occurring in another state.
9 p.m. – Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Lake Township for a report of a possible mental health crisis call. While investigating it was found there was no threat of harm, however, a 41-year-old Menominee man was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.
June 27
12:47 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to a business in Stephenson Township for a report of fraud. The caller stated she was contacted by a subject on social media and ended up giving the subject access to her bank accounts as well as sending the subject some money through gift cards. An investigation was completed however the complainant did not want to file charges at this time.

12:22 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to a malicious destruction of property complaint at J. W. Wells State Park in Cedarville Township. The caller stated someone drove on the walking trail. DNR took over the investigation.
June 29
2:38 a.m. – A deputy was dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover crash on US 41 in Menominee Township. A 23-year-old Menominee man was south on US 41 when he ran off of the roadway on the right causing him to overturn several times. After investigating the man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, no security on a motor vehicle and no operator’s license. He was released to the hospital for his non-life-threatening injuries.
4:47 p.m. – Deputies were dispatched to a medical call on US 41 in the City of Stephenson. Due to the circumstances, an investigation was conducted and the deputy is requesting charges for filing a false medical report. The incident was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.
8:17 p.m. – A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for unsafe equipment on US 41 in the City of Stephenson. Upon further investigation it was found that the subject had been a victim of a hit and run down by Menominee. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.
June 30
9:08 p.m. – A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 41 in Daggett Township for failing to maintain its lane. After making contact the driver, a 42-year-old Daggett man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without security and no operator’s license. He was lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
July 1
1:09 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to Anderson Rd in Stephenson Township for a report of a larceny of farm equipment. The caller stated he had some old farm equipment at the end of his driveway that had been taken. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.
4:58 p.m. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration plates on CR 577 in Mellen Township. Upon further investigation the driver, a 42-year-old Marinette, Wis. woman, was arrested for operating without security and cited for expired registration plates.
5:35 p.m. – A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a motorcycle on US 41 in Stephenson Township for speed however the suspect failed to stop and fled at a high rate of speed. A lengthy pursuit ensued and the suspect, a 36-year-old Daggett man, eventually stopped at the gas station on US 41 in Stephenson Township where he was arrested for driving while license revoked, flee and elude, no security on a motor vehicle. He was also cited for no registration plates and speed. The man was lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
July 2
3:15 a.m. – Deputies were advised to assist Marinette County deputies with a high-speed pursuit of a vehicle that was crossing the McAllister bridge on G-08 in Mellen Township. The vehicle eventually stopped on Rangeline Rd but then the driver fled on foot. The area was surrounded and with the assistance of K-9 units and drones the suspect, a 34-year-old Green Bay, Wis. man was arrested on a valid warrant out of Wisconsin probation and parole division for a probation violation as well as possession of methamphetamines. He was lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
10:50 a.m. – Deputies arrested a 39-year-old Paw Paw, Mich. man on a valid warrant out of 41st Circuit Court of Menominee in Kalamazoo County. He was transported and lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
11:34 p.m. – A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in Spalding Township. The driver, a 31-year-old Stephenson man was arrested on two valid warrants out of 95A District Court of Menominee. The warrants were both for failure to appear. He was lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
