Escanaba Public School Summer Food Program

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Area Public School District announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for Children. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled In an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a state or local public educational agency. The program began June 14 and will tentatively end Aug, 12.

The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the sites listed below:

Upper Elementary 1500 Ludington Street Escanaba, 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.

YMCA 2000 North 30th Street Escanaba, 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Webster Kindergarten Center 1209 North 19th Street Escanaba 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Junior/Senior High 500 South Lincoln Escanaba, 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Lemmer Elementary 700 South 20th Street Escanaba, 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Camp Harstad E4655 Highway M-35 Escanaba, 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Please note, lunches are served Monday through Thursday. You may take a bagged lunch for your lunch on Friday as you leave Thursday.
