Individuals sentenced in circuit court

ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Ashley Marie Munroe, 29, of 626 S. 11th St., Escanaba, pleaded no contest to a count of controlled substance — delivery/manufacture — meth. She was sentenced to a minimum of seven years and a maximum of 20 years in prison, and was given credit for 221 days served. Munroe was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Ashely Marie Munroe, 29, of 626 S. 11th St., Escanaba, pleaded no contest to a count of controlled substance — delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 50 grams. She was sentenced to 221 days jail, concurrent to her prison sentence for controlled substance — delivery/manufacture — meth, and given credit for 221 days served. Munroe’s driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and she was ordered to pay $68 in fines and costs.

Shannon Marie Lippold, 42, of 1323 Stephenson Ave., Lower, Escanaba, pleaded no contest to a count of controlled substance — delivery/manufacture (Schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marijuana, meth, ecstasy and cocaine). She was sentenced to 11 months jail and given credit for 73 days served. Lippold’s driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and she was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Shannon Marie Lippold, 42, of 1323 Stephenson Ave., Lower, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — possession of meth/ecstasy. She was sentenced to nine months jail, concurrent to her jail sentence for controlled substance — delivery/manufacture (Schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marijuana, meth, ecstasy and cocaine), and given credit for 73 days served. Lippold’s driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and she was ordered to pay $758 in fines and costs.

Mark Randall Heiskala, 35, of 1215 1st Ave. N., Escanaba, was convicted by a jury on two counts of police officer — assaulting/resisting/obstructing and a count of operating while intoxicated — second offense notice. He received concurrent sentences of 10 months jail on each count and was given credit for 78 days served. Heiskala’s driver license was revoked, and he was ordered to pay $876 in fines and costs.

Crystal Dawn Sapino, 37, of 513 S. 16th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of embezzlement — $50,000 or more but less than $100,000. She was sentenced to 12 months jail and given credit for 234 days served. Sapino was placed on probation for 36 months; after serving the first 10 months of her sentence, the remaining two months will be suspended until the end of probation or as further ordered by the court. She was ordered to pay $1,268 in fines and costs and $71,041.27 in restitution.

Matthew Jacob Ostrander, 37, of 2621 S. 22nd St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to three counts of check — non-sufficient funds, $500 or more. He received concurrent sentences of a minimum of one year, four months to a maximum of two years in prison on each sentence, and was given credit for 167 days served. Ostrander was ordered to pay $394 in fines and costs and $32,812.58 in restitution.

Matthew Jacob Ostrander, 37, of 2621 S. 22nd St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to three counts of habitual offender — second offense notice with underlying offenses of check — non-sufficient funds, $500 or more. He received concurrent sentences of a minimum of two years to a maximum of three years in prison on each sentence, and was given credit for 167 days served. Ostrander was ordered to pay $334 in fines and costs.
